Lane is passionate about advocating for his clients and helping resolve their legal issues. He is a strong communicator and is able to equip clients with the information and understanding necessary to ensure they make informed decisions that support a possible outcome to their legal issues.

His earliest experiences honing his understanding of the legal system was as an active trial-division caseworker with Student Legal Assistance during his time at the University of Calgary. He provided both information and representation to Calgarians in need, helping them to navigate the legal system, understand their options, and find resolutions.

This early advocacy of legal representation for all fuelled Lane’s passion for the legal profession and his own desire to endlessly learn and develop his skills as a lawyer.

Lane has appeared before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Justice. He is a former collegiate level baseball player, graduating from the University of Lethbridge with great distinction.
