Overcoming challenges has been a driving force throughout Marty’s life, and is something he brings to his practice of family law and estate litigation. His goal with each client is to bring about a fair resolution to their issue in an efficient manner.

With a skillset honed by more than a decade of coaching collegiate basketball (and winning 6-straight conference championships), Marty is no stranger to finding victory. Taking that experience to his legal practice, Marty is constantly measuring the cost and benefit of each issue as he works to achieve a favourable result.

He coaches his clients through achieving their legal goals by understanding their desired outcomes and finding those solutions within the confines of the law.

Marty’s steely and confident demeanor provides a calming and supportive foundation for his clients during what are typically very emotional times. This empowers him to stay strong and focused on his clients goals while still showing them the empathy they deserve.

Marty has experience before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench. Whenever possible, he is also a strong advocate for mediation/arbitration as a dispute resolution practice.
