A lifelong Calgarian, Yasemin dove directly in to the study of law by attending the University of Liverpool School of Law in the United Kingdom. Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Yasemin next completed her Master of Management (MMgmt) from the Haskayne School of Business before challenging her NCA Qualifications with the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Having experienced multiple disciplines of the legal landscape as a young associate, the practice of family law was a perfect fit; it always presents new and unique challenges while giving Yasemin an opportunity to be hands-on and actively engaged with her clients.

In both her personal and professional life, Yasemin is drawn to helping others navigate the difficult situations life can present. In building a relationship with her clients, her first step is to foster a sense of trust and security – enabling her to ground her clients in the reality of their situation (good or bad).

Through either mediation or litigation, Yasemin’s goal is to succeed. She is not afraid of a fight when the situation calls for it.
